(SARASOTA, Fla., June 14, 2017) Business owners and startups will learn to use a contemporary 1-page business plan to grow or organize a company at Manasota SCORE’s “Plan Your Way to Success with 1-Page Business Model Canvas” workshop on June 24.
The Business Model Canvas makes it easy to lay out, see, envision and organize all the elements needed to start or improve a business, introduce a new product or service, and assess which business offerings are or will be most profitable. Built with 9 cells or blocks, half focused on delivering value to customers and half on operations, it offers focus and flexibility for developing strategies and can be used to share an engaging overview with employees or volunteers.
Presenter Richard Randolph, founder of Florida Creativity Centers, has taught graduate and undergraduate business courses in Arizona and the Sarasota-Manatee area. Describing the value of the Business model Canvas, Randolph says, “By putting it all on one single page, business owners and teams are able to see it from a high level point of view and see the totality of the business.”
The workshop will be held on June 24, 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., at Robert Taylor Community Center, 1845 34th St., Sarasota. Registration is available at manasota.score.org. The $25 fee can be paid online or at the workshop.
