Patel Conservatory presents Disney’s The Lion King, Jr.

Tampa, Fla. – The Patel Conservatory at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts will present Disney’s The Lion King, Jr. July 20-23 in the TECO Theater.

Patel Conservatory students in grades three through eight will bring the African savannah to life on stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale beloved worldwide.

Favorite songs from the popular Disney film and full length live musical, such as Circle Of Life, I Just Can’t Wait To Be King, Be Prepared, Hakuna Matata and Can You Feel The Love Tonight are featured.

Performances are Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 1 and 4 p.m. Regularly priced tickets to Disney’s The Lion King, Jr. are $15-$20 and may be purchased by calling 813.229.STAR (7827) or 800.955.1045 outside Tampa Bay, in person at the Straz Center Ticket Office or online at www.strazcenter.org.
