LAKELAND, Fla., June 6, 2017- Video plays an increasingly vital role in external messaging. It is relatively easy to create with a smartphone and a couple of apps; however, the ease with which it can be created by people within an organization can also be problematic. Guest speaker MaryBeth Head, co-owner of Two-Head Video, will share practical tips and advice on how to produce quality content when capturing video from a smartphone at the next meeting of Dick Pope/Polk County chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association on June 21, 2017.
Head has 35 years of experience as a producer and director. She tackles the challenge of working with different personalities, meeting rigid production deadlines and keeping a keen eye on the budget. She is actively involved in every stage of production and focuses on consistent, clear communication. As a student of human behavior, she applies her knowledge of how people think, learn and emotionally respond with trending technologies to help create programs that educate, motivate and inspire viewers.
The meeting, which includes breakfast and networking opportunities, will be held from 7:30-9:00 am. at Fresco’s, located at 132 South Kentucky Avenue, Lakeland, Fla. 33803. The meeting is open to the public. RSVP by Thursday, June 15 to avoid a $5 late charge at FPRApolk.org or contact Brad Ruhmann at info@fprapolk.org.
