Join special guest Ms. Norcia Ward-Marin, U.S. Commercial Service Trade Specialist in Bogota, Colombia on June 13, 2017 to learn more about exporting to Colombia.
Colombia is Florida’s second largest export market and the fourth largest economy in Latin America making it an excellent market for Tampa Bay exporters. U.S. exports to Colombia have increased 15 percent since the implementation of the U.S.- Colombia Free Trade Agreement (FTA), which immediately eliminated import tariffs on 80% of U.S. consumer and industrial products.
Export industries targeted to Columbia include:
Agriculture
Automotive
Defense
Education
Electric Power & Renewable Energy
Information Technology
Infrastructure
Medical Equipment
Processed Food & Beverages
Safety & Security
Travel & Tourism
Water Treatment Systems
There are two opportunities (morning and afternoon) to participate in this workshop at no cost on Tuesday, June 13. Registration before the event is required. Please see the session details and registration links below.
The trade mission will include the U.S. Commercial Service Gold Key matchmaker program – customized one-on-one meetings with potential customers or partners in Colombia. With Reimbursable Gold Key/Matchmaker Grants grants available from Enterprise Florida to qualified companies to cover $1,000 of the Gold Key fee, this is an excellent opportunity for Tampa Bay companies to expand their sales to Colombia.
