Bradenton, FL. – June 6, 2017. KEY GLASS LLC was founded in 1992. Twenty Five years later they are operating a 12 Million dollar company in Bradenton, FL. with the need to expand. Adding on 18,000 SF of warehouse and offices to their current location. They even had to add additional offices after the initial drawings, making room for growth. Jon F. Swift Construction was the General Contractor selected for the expansion. Key Glass celebrated their 25 Years in business and open house on May 11th, just a couple weeks after the expansion was complete. Inviting vendors, friends, family, clients and employees. Owner, Greg Burkhart held walking tours showing the history of the company with old machines that were used in the early years of Key Glass. Followed by the new technologies that Key has invested in to keep up with advancements in technology. The tour also consisted of a walk through the new offices where each office has prominent project photo done by Key Glass in the area. A glass wall that listed many glass projects around town and the surrounding counties. Notable projects that were seen were Ringling School of Art & Design’s Alfred Goldstein’s Library, Sarasota Air Traffic Control Tower, University Town Center Mall, Sarasota Memorial Hospital Bed Tower, University of Tampa IBC Building, IMG Performance Building, Sarasota Police Headquarters, Sarasota High School. “It is exciting when growth evolves organically creating a lasting powerful force that unites the entire team at Key Glass”, said Mrs. Burkhart. Prior to the celebration the company had a company meeting recognizing two 10-year employees and five 5-year employees. And Greg Burkhart hand crafted glass rack trucks for his clients.
