
Residents Encouraged to Complete Community Needs Assessment Surveys
Tampa, Fla. –The University Area Community Development Corporation (University Area CDC) is conducting a bi-annual Community Needs Assessment to gather important resident data needed to plan and implement initiatives in the University Area Community. The assessment will consist of two Community Conversations, FREE for University Area residents, as well as a Community Survey.
The Community Conversations will be held:
- Sunday, June 11, from noon to 2 p.m. at Harvest Hope Park, 13704 N. 20th
- Thursday, June 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the University Area Community Center, 14013 N. 22nd
These “town hall” style conversations will focus on topics of importance to University Area residents, such as housing, education, employment, health and safety. Food will be served at each event and attendees will have the chance to win a brand new bicycle.
The Community Survey can be completed in the University Area Community Center Main Office or Computer Lab (both located at 14013 N. 22nd St.). Survey participants will receive a gift after submitting a completed survey, and surveys will be available until Saturday, June 17th.
