Tampa, FL (June 2, 2017) – Genesis Communications announced today that Florida State Senator Darryl Rouson and political strategist Barry Edwards will guest host June 8th, 9th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd on WWBA – AM820. Florida State Senator Darryl Rouson will be hosting the popular talk show, Florida Live, during the popular afternoon drive time slot. Rouson will be filling in for America’s youngest major market talk host, Dan Maduri, while he is on vacation. Maduri’s show airs on WIXC – AM 1060 in the Melbourne-Cocoa market and WWBA – AM820 in the Greater Tampa Bay market.
Florida State Senator Darryl Rouson is a Democrat who has represented the 19th district that includes parts of Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. He previously served four terms in the Florida House of Representatives. During his most recent term in the state legislature, Representative Rouson passed several bills including his Juvenile Civil Citation bill which gives police officers the discretion to issue juveniles a citation for three separate misdemeanors and the Backyard Gun Range bill which bans recreational shooting in densely residential areas.
