(SARASOTA, Fla., May 31, 2017) Rick Ross combines the perspectives of a marketing executive from a large corporation (General Motors) with the marketing challenges of being a small business owner. At a Lunch and Learn on Tuesday, June 13, presented by the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce, Ross will share no or low-cost marketing practices used by large corporations that can be effectively utilized by small businesses.
Ross, a Manasota SCORE business mentor, will incorporate lessons from branding giants in his presentation, “Raising Your Business to the Next Level.” He will share tips on how small business owners can add value to create a competitive edge and improve their success. Topics will include investing creativity to develop a brand identity and implementing retail process design (RPD) to improve all aspects of customer interfacing.
“In this economy, we continue to carefully watch the bottom line,” said Gretchen Miscik, chair of the Venice Chamber’s Education and Business Development committee. “Business owners are leery of spending money on marketing without being able to forecast a return with some certainty. Rick will show us approaches to marketing that owners can implement with little risk or expenditure. I look forward to hearing his suggestions and answers that many have not considered.”
This Lunch and Learn presentation is being offered at no charge thanks to the program’s sponsors: Ring Authority, Sabal Palm Bank, Steve Griese, Northwestern Mutual and Marc Miles Attorney at Law. Registration is required by 5 pm on June 12. The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce, 597 South Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34285.
