Tampa, Fla. – Hillel Academy will honor their eighth graders as they graduate on Thursday, May 25 at Congregation Kol Ami, 3919 Moran Road, Tampa 33612. Also, an Awards Ceremony for all students will be held Tuesday, May 23 at 1 p.m.
It was quite a year for eighth graders, who are currently on a 17-day field trip to Israel, which ends May 19. Their itinerary includes exciting adventures such as spelunking in ancient tunnels, camel riding, exploring ancient holy sites and sleeping in a Bedouin tent.
In addition, the eighth grade students create, design and paint ceiling tiles to leave as their legacy to the school.
