What wonders can you find in the salty shallows of Little Sarasota Bay? Satisfy your curiosity by spending a fun morning exploring at 2 Feet Under the Bay, hosted by Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast and Around the Bend Nature Tours. This family-friendly program, designed for kids, ages 5 to 12, will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017, 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Bay Preserve.
Be prepared to get your feet wet as you wade in the grass flats with dip nets, and discover what thrives in the bay, our nursery of the sea. The program will be held at Conservation Foundation’s headquarters, Bay Preserve, 400 Palmetto Avenue in Osprey. Registration is required as capacity is limited. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For details and registration, visit www.conservationfoundation.com/2feet or call (941) 918-2100.
