Sarasota, FL, May 23, 2017– Sarasota Orthopedic Associates is pleased to announce that spine surgeon Andrew Moulton, MD, recently received the HCA Humanitarian Frist Award from Doctors Hospital of Sarasota. This award represents the compassion and spirit of its co-founder, Dr Thomas Frist, and exemplifies Dr. Moulton’s dedication, care, and compassion.
Dr Moulton travels several times a year to developing countries with his medical team to deliver spine care and life-altering surgeries for children. He co-founded the Butterfly Foundation in 2003 and since that time, has committed to improving the lives of children with complex spinal deformities while training surgeons in the advancement of spine deformity treatment technology.
