Highland Homes (Highland Holdings, Inc.) is proud to announce its recent recognition on two of the country’s most prestigious homebuilding lists. On BUILDER Magazine’s Builder 100 list of the nation’s largest home builders, Highland Homes moved up from last year to No. 80. The Lakeland-based builder also moved up on Professional Builder’s annual Housing Giants list to No. 124 largest builder in the nation.
“It’s exciting for our local company to once again be recognized when compared to national builders,” said Amy Cooper, marketing manager for Highland Homes. “Based on our projections, goals, and early numbers for 2017, we expect this to be another year of strong growth, and we look forward to helping even more Florida homebuyers achieve their dream of homeownership.”
BUILDER Magazine collected data for the rankings via direct survey of the nation’s top builders to compile the Builder 100 and Next 100 lists. Rankings were determined based on the number of new home closings in 2016. Highland Homes closed 570 new homes last year, a 17.5 percent increase over 2015.
On Professional Builder’s Housing Giants list, homebuilding companies are ranked based on revenue. With housing revenue totaling $115.42 million in 2016, a 21.1 percent increase over 2015, Highland Homes landed at No. 124 out of 240 builders.
As one of the largest private homebuilding companies in Central Florida and recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as one of the fastest-growing, privately owned companies in both Tampa Bay and the State of Florida, Highland Homes distinguishes itself by providing quality new homes with highly sought-after features and affordable pricing from the mid-$100,000s to the $300,000s. Highland Homes builds new homes in communities throughout Central, North Central, Southwest and Tampa Bay, Florida, offering everything from easy maintenance townhomes to luxurious estate homes.
