Electra America, a private owner-operator focused on multifamily investment in the southeastern United States, has appointed Stacey Bondar to the role of Executive Vice President of Asset Management. Bondar will have direct responsibility for overseeing and monitoring the property management teams on the company’s 70 multifamily communities located across six states, with a total portfolio of more than 23,000 apartment units totaling over $2.5 billion in value.
In her new role, Bondar will oversee the properties’ performances, enhancements, revenue management and interact directly with investors and strategic partners worldwide. She reports to Electra America CEO Joe Lubeck.
“We are excited to have someone with Stacey’s expertise, track record of success and talent joining the Electra America team,” said Lubeck. “This is another great step in building and expanding the company’s holdings and our operating platform.”
Prior to joining Electra America, Bondar served as the Vice President of Operations for Invitation Homes (a Blackstone Company) in Tampa, Fla. She was responsible for the overall management and financial success of the firm’s operations, rehab/turns/maintenance, acquisition and leasing departments, which included over 5,600 single-family homes throughout Florida.
Boasting more than 15 years of residential and commercial real estate experience, Bondar has also previously served in various leadership roles for Cal-Am Properties, Inc, American Residential Communities, and ZRS Management LLC, to name a few. Bondar notes that her strong market research and analysis, team leadership and training, business development and vendor management skills are all a foundation to her success.
