Belle of the Ball Project will provide free prom dresses and accessories to in-need high school girls on Saturday May 6, 2017, from 10am to 2pm, at 1210 Holt Avenue, Clearwater. This is the last spring 2017 date.
The charity, now in its second decade of serving girls, welcomes all financially needy girls to get a dress regardless of where they live. Almost 600 girls from seven area counties received dresses in 2016. Over 5,500 girls from 14 Florida counties have been served since 2003.
Dresses are available to all in-need, high school girls for their high school dances (prom, homecoming, military ball ). We respect the honor system. No referral letter is necessary. No appointment needed. A $1 to $5 donation is requested but not required. Dresses are for high school dances only!!
The Belle of the Ball boutique at 1210 Holt Avenue, Clearwater is a store-like setting, with over 4,000 dresses in inventory. Girls also select from shoes, purses and jewelry to complete their ensembles!
The boutique is open to the public only 4 days in the spring and 4 days in the fall, for prom and homecoming dress shopping.
