Tampa, Fla. – (April 25, 2017) – Hillel Academy Tampa has appointed Idit Hacham to the position of Hebrew instructor. She will begin her new position at Hillel in the Fall for the 2017-18 school year.
“As an Israeli certified teacher and a Judaics teacher at Kol Ami, Idit Hacham will be teaching middle school Hebrew and Judaics at Hillel Academy,” said Head of School Gordon Rode. “We are excited to have such an experienced teacher involved in the Jewish life of Hillel.”
Hacham comes to Hillel from the JCC, where she has served as assistant director of the After School Enrichment Program and assistant director of the JCC summer camp. She has a Bachelor’s degree in education from Oranim Academic College in Israel and is certified in elementary education. She currently teaches fifth and sixth grade religious studies at Kol Ami.
