31st Annual Green Thumb Festival Seeking Volunteers

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (April 4, 2017) – The Green Thumb Festival is seeking volunteers for St. Petersburg’s 31st annual Arbor Day celebration at Walter Fuller Park, 7891 26th Ave. N., on Saturday, April 22, and Sunday, April 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. With over 30,000 visitors expected, help is needed in a variety of areas. Volunteers assist in selling small trees, distributing plants at the plant auction, staffing the volunteer booth, helping in the arts & crafts area and more. Volunteers receive a T-shirt following their work shift. Students can receive volunteer service hours. Free to the public.
