The Leadership Pasco class of 2017-“Pasco’s Finest Team”-will be hosting the 7th Annual Taste of Pasco benefiting Sunrise of Pasco County, Inc.
Hudson, FL-The Taste of Pasco 2017 will take place on Saturday April 29, 2017, 4-7 p.m. at the Rotary Pavilion at the Concourse in Hudson, on S.R, 52 near the Suncoast Parkway. This year’s food festival will host more than 30 different local restaurants.
Leadership Pasco’s event chair, Jose Cardenas, says, “We are expecting upwards of 800 people to attend, come out and enjoy a Culinary Passport through Pasco County with bite size samples from local restaurants, music, children’s activities and much more.”
Advance tickets cost $25 and can be purchased online or from any Leadership Pasco Class of 2017 student. Tickets will be $30 at the door, children 12 and under are FREE.
Sunrise of Pasco County, Inc. is a 501 c3 domestic and sexual violence center. They are a catalyst for change that empowers residents of Pasco County to save lives. They educate the community and change lives through domestic and sexual violence intervention and prevention services. Sunrise strives to provide a safe place for survivors of sexual and domestic violence including the children affected. The provide education, counseling, resources and shelter.

Leadership Pasco Class of 2017 will build a gazebo and garden pathway and install landscaping for the victims of the shelter to have a peaceful outdoor area. According to class President, Brett Landsberg, “Our class will also be providing surveillance cameras at the Sunrise office facilities to add another layer of protection for them”.
