Brooksville, Florida (March 20, 2017) – Live Oak Theatre Company, a not-for-profit family-oriented theatre company, will conduct its eighth annual summer program from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 19 through June 23. Camp will be held at Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 200 Mt. Fair Ave., Brooksville, FL, 34601.
Each day of camp will include a lunch break and time taken for snacks. Children must bring their own lunch, drinks, and healthy snacks.) Arrangements can be made for early drop-off/late pick up, on a case by case basis.
The suggested donation for tuition is $150.
The camp is open to children ages 7-18. Special arrangements may be made for younger children based on interview and audition. Campers will be split into three age groups.
Campers will learn various concepts of musical theatre including:
- Vocal technique
- Song interpretation
- Movement to music
- Auditioning skills
- Stage make-up
- Set/costume theory and technique
- Acting skills such as:
- Improve technique
- And much more
