5K fundraiser to benefit the amputee community

March 19, 2017 by Post

The PARR Foundation is excited to announce the date of April 7th for its 2nd Annual PARR for the Course, 5K Race & 1 Mile Fun Run. Join us on one of the most unique 5K courses in the Tampa Bay area, as this beautiful yet challenging course snakes its way through the lush, wooded grounds of the Babe Zaharias golf course. Surrounded by the quaint charm of Forest Hills, this race offers a flat, fast run sure to appeal to all levels of runners. The chip-timed 5K begins promptly at 6:30pm with the 1 mile starting at approximately 7:30pm. Following the 1 mile event, there will be an awards ceremony as well as a post-race party featuring FREE BEER, a live DJ and a great selection of free food samples from a number of area restaurants. Proceeds from the event go to support the PARR Foundation and their efforts to assist the amputee community through research, rehabilitation and funding. For more information and to register, please go to parrforthecourse.racehawk.com, or call 813-936-8700.
