SARASOTA, FL (March 16, 2017) – “Art teaches nothing except the significance of life.” – Henry Miller, author. In an effort to celebrate the many colors of life through an industry that is rooted in death, Bogati Urn Company will donate 10 percent of select items sold during March 2017 to a Florida-based arts organization, Creative Clay.
Located in St. Petersburg, Fla., Creative Clay is a nonprofit cultural arts center with a mission to help people with disabilities achieve full and inclusive lives through access to the arts by providing expressive, educational and vocational experiences. The organization’s team of professional artists provides outreach art experiences to people with disabilities, as well as children, veterans and those in institutional settings.
“As a company headquartered in an arts community, we recognize the immense impact Creative Clay has on those it serves. It’s clear it’s an incredibly admirable organization, and we are proud to support it,” said Andrea Bogard-LeBlanc, owner of Bogati Urn Company.
The Bogati Urns donation will go toward Creative Clay’s capital campaign, “The 2017 Project: Securing Our Future,” which will allow the organization to move its headquarters. The new space will feature an additional 1,000 square feet, which will allow Creative Clay to expand its Community Arts Program to serve individuals currently on a waiting list.
Items eligible for the donation can be found online at https://bogatiurns.com/product-category/bogati-gives-back/.
“In our industry, our partners and their customers are celebrating lives after death,” Bogard LeBlanc said. “We would like to also celebrate life while living it, and we think this is a worthy way of doing so.”
