TRINITY, Fla. (March 14, 2017) – We are pleased to announce Kia Troutman, Jill Taylor, Gaetano ‘Tim’ Fida, and Sheila Lauer have joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group as Real Estate Sales Executives.
Troutman has joined the Lakeland office, 520 S Florida Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33801. Kia earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communication from Florida Atlantic University in Ft Lauderdale, where she is originally from. She has over 10 years of experience in sales and has been practicing real estate for about 1 year. Her most recent job is insuring homes through an independent insurance firm, giving her an immense amount of knowledge on more than just the real estate market. In her spare time, Kia mentors high school age students and has spoken at certain non-profit organizations on up building topics for girls.
Taylor has joined the St. Pete Beach office, 6800 Gulf Boulevard St Pete Beach, FL 33706. She is originally from LaGrange, Illinois then lived in Naples, FL for 17 years. She has now been in the Tampa Bay area for about 1 year. Jill earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Florida State University. Prior to real estate, she has been in sales for about 20 years, giving her great experience with quality customer service. Her past jobs include being a store manager at numerous large department stores and retail stores. Jill is extremely excited to start her new career in real estate with Florida Properties Group.
Fida has joined the Brooksville office, 13161 Cortez Blvd Brooksville, FL 34613. He has been in the Brooksville and Spring Hill area for about 14 years, giving him a great amount of knowledge on the area and its market trends. Previously, Tim was working as an IT manager for a large medical systems developer in Minnesota and then also as an IT consultant. He is ready to take on the real estate world while also bringing his extensive background of IT consultant skills along with him.
Lauer has joined the Brooksville office, 13161 Cortez Blvd Brooksville, FL 34613. She has been in the Tampa Bay are for about 9 years, but considers her home town to be the Bronx, New York. Sheila attended Nova Southeastern University where she received her Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Supervision. She has been practicing real estate for about 2 years and was previously affiliated with Tropic Shores Realty. Prior to real estate, Sheila was an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher to adults where she was able to travel and live all over the world. In her spare time, she was able to develop “Oldies” dances in Hernando County to assist the elderly with maintaining better health. Sheila is very motivated to start in real estate and start this chapter of her career.
