The Kiwanis Club of Tampa along with The Kiwanis Foundation are
hosting their 27th annual charity golf tournament at Westchase Golf Club
on Friday, April 21st and are looking for hole sponsors, auction items,
donations and especially golfers. 1:30pm shotgun start. There are also
contests for a hole in one, closest to the pin, putting and longest drive. Top
prize for a hole-in-one is a 2 year lease on a 2017 Ford Mustang.
The Kiwanis Club of Tampa is a Tampa area charity comprised of business,
political and professional leaders in the area and they pride themselves on
their “hands-on” philosophy of civic involvement.
“The Kiwanis Club of Tampa has been making a powerful impact in our
community for decades,” explains Susan Maurer, Golf Tournament
Director and President Elect. “The proceeds raised from our annual golf
tournament are used for scholarships for local students.”
The Kiwanis Club of Tampa, often referred to as the Downtown Club, was
organized in 1919 as the first Kiwanis Club in Florida. Join them for a lunch
meeting any Wednesday noon at the Tampa Club in downtown Tampa.

range from $250 to $1,050 and participant only is $130 per golfer. Every
player receives a box lunch, beverages on the course, and sit down dinner.
