New Program Empowers People with Parkinson’s
Sarasota, Florida (March 2, 2017) – B-Mo Fit, an independent provider of fitness services, is now affiliated with a nationally recognized exercise program called Rock Steady Boxing. Designed to help people with Parkinson’s disease fight their disease, the program uses the fundamentals of boxing training combined with specific exercises.
“When I first learned about Rock Steady Boxing from Leslie Stalls on 60 Minutes I was intrigued so I did some more research,” recalls Maureen Corristan, owner of B-Mo Fit. “I
contacted Parkinson’s Place and Neuro Challenge to learn about the local community and I called my longtime friend and colleague Tony Spain to see if he would like to help me bring this program to Sarasota.”
