March 4, 2017 by Post

SARASOTA COUNTY – The county’s Human Resources Department will be holding a job fair that caters to south county residents from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 8 at the North Port Public Library.

Representatives from various county divisions and departments will be in attendance, including Libraries and Historical Resources, Fleet and Facilities.

HR representatives will assist candidates in completing applications and answer questions about current and future opportunities. There are currently over 25 vacancies advertised on the county’s website, www.scgov.net, under “Careers.”

Libraries staff will also have a variety of information on the new Shannon Staub Library, slated to open at 4901 N. Cranberry Blvd., North Port, in August 2017. The library will employ more than 20 full- and part-time employees, and those positions will be posted for applicants in the coming months.

North Port Public Library is located at 13800 Tamiami Trail, North Port.
