(SARASOTA, Fla., March 1, 2017) Manasota SCORE is offering a new workshop, How to Apply for a Small Business Administration Loan, on Tuesday, March 7, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Selby Library.
Obtaining business financing can seem like a daunting process. This workshop is designed to help small businesses navigate the loan application process, so they can access funding that will help their business reach full potential. Topics will include what lenders want, sources for conventional and SBA loans, and how to select a bank. It will also cover where to obtain credit reports and scores, and their importance; creation and processing of loan documents, including the need for a business plan; how to buy real estate for your business; and common mistakes to avoid. Participants will have ample opportunity to have their questions addressed.
Manasota SCORE is partnering with HomeBanc’s Amy Hammer and Denise Gagne to offer this program.
Registration is available through Manasota.SCORE.org/localworkshops. The $25 fee can be paid online or at the workshop.
