Tampa, Florida (February 28, 2017) – Tampa Community Hospital is pleased to announce the promotion of Deirdre R. Baksh to Controller. Ms. Baksh was promoted from the position of Assistant Controller, which she held from October 2008. Ms. Baksh comes to the position with over 25 years of experience in the field; 20 of those were served at Tampa Community Hospital. Ms. Baksh joined Tampa Community Hospital in December 1995 as a Payroll Coordinator. She was promoted to Accountant in November 2000 and then promoted to Assistant Controller in October 2008.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York, in 1991. In making the announcement CFO, LaTasha Barnes, stated, “With over 20 years in the department and over 25 years of experience in the field, Deirdre is well positioned to take on this new responsibility and provide stability in our department. I am thrilled she agreed to take on this role as a new leader at Tampa Community Hospital.”
