SMART Receives $3,500 Grant from Community Foundation of Sarasota

February 28, 2017 by Advice Inc.

(Southwest Florida) SMART is pleased to announce that it has received an Immediate Impact grant from the Arthur T. Esslinger Memorial Fund of the Community Foundation of Sarasota. The $3,500 grant will be used to redesign their website to create a more user-friendly format and professional image, to provide easier access to online forms for participants and volunteers, and improve the group’s ability to accept online donations and provide real-time donor acknowledgements.

“We are so excited to update our very old and tired website,” said Gail Clifton, Executive Director of SMART.  “This capacity building grant is going to allow us to improve and expand our community outreach and give SMART a fresh, tech-savvy presence on the web. This year we are celebrating our 30th anniversary of service to the community, so the timing is perfect! We are grateful to the Community Foundation of Sarasota for their wonderful support.”

SMART hopes to unveil their new website by early March. They are working on the project with Bradenton marketing agency Deckard and Company.
