St. Petersburg, FL – Sarasota, FL – Welcome to the premiere of the St. Petersburg Seafood & Music Festival to be held in North Straub Park on March 25-26, 2017. The event is co-hosted by the City of St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance. Join us for a weekend of food and live music while enjoying the downtown St. Petersburg community in the company and camaraderie of family and friends! Hours are both Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm. General admission is $5 at the gate, $3 in advance on Eventbrite. VIP Tent admission is $50.
The St. Petersburg Seafood & Music Festival is created as all good dishes: by incorporating and blending the finest ingredients. We offer fresh dishes prepared onsite by top local restaurants and food purveyors mixing a variety of ingredients (seafood, meats and vegetarian). Seafood dishes are created using indigenous and sustainable ocean resources from Florida’s coastal waters. Select from a diverse menu of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to accompany your meal!
Musical entertainment consists of live on-stage performances by creative and talented musicians from both the local and regional circuit. Genres of music vary from soul, classic rock, R&B, jazz, salsa and more. Musical groups this year include Jah Movement, Orchestra Fuego, Mike Tozier, the Greg Billings Band, Twinkle & Rock Soul Radio, RJ Howson, the HubbTones, RJ Howson and the Sarasota Steel Pan Band. Performance times are listed on our event website: www.seafoodfestivals.com where you can also watch videos of live performances.
The event also features a Crafts Village showcasing arts, crafts and fine products, many with a nautical theme, along with gourmet food products and specialty items.
So much to see and enjoy – this ‘cannot be missed’ event! Join us – we will lay the feast upon the table – all we need is you!
