Ryan A. Malloy, MA, BAS, Appointed Executive Director of Brooksville Main Street

Brooksville, Florida (February 16, 2017) – The Brooksville Main Street program announces the appointment of Ryan A. Malloy as its Executive Director. Mr. Malloy comes to the Brooksville Main Street program from Heritage Homes Realty in St. Petersburg where he served as owner and CEO of a multi-million dollar real estate sales business. Mr. Malloy has a reputation as a talented individual with a fervent passion for the field of historic preservation. He has a long-standing career with a wide variety of positions held in hotel, banking, restaurant, real estate and especially project management. From 2012 to 2014 he served as Senior Development Specialist of the Edwards Group, which managed and oversaw the construction of a $50 million construction project.

 

Mr. Malloy holds a Master of Arts degree from Savannah College of Art & Design in historic preservation with degree emphasis on preservation advocacy and conservation techniques. He also holds a BAS in sustainability management from St. Petersburg College. Mr. Malloy also comes to Brooksville Main Street program with an extensive background in nonprofit leadership. He currently serves as a member of the board and former secretary to St. Petersburg Preservation and a board trustee and treasurer for Florida Trust for Historic Preservation.
