Golfers Tee-Off to Raise Funds for Homeless, Sick & Injured Felines
Sarasota, Fla. – (January 31, 2017) – Cat Depot will host its first-ever Golf Classic on Monday, February 6 to raise needed funds for the homeless, sick, and injured cats and kittens helped by the organization each year. In 2016, Cat Depot rescued over 1,530 felines.
The event will be held at the prestigious Founders Club, located in Sarasota, Florida. The sold-out tournament will include an 18-hole scramble, luncheon, awards ceremony, silent auction, and luck of the draw raffle. Tee-off begins at 8:30 a.m.
Organized by Cat Depot Advisory Board member, Caroline Resnick, the, the Golf Classic is part of the non-profit organization’s annual campaign to raise funds to promote and support all aspects of the shelter’s adoption and educational programs; to provide innovative and life-saving medical treatment to needy felines; and to ensure community access to low-cost medical services.
