More than 200 McDonald’s restaurants throughout Miami, Tampa Bay and Orlando
are available on the UberEATS app through a delivery test
TAMPA BAY, FL – UberEATS and McDonald’s are partnering to test delivery from more than 200 restaurants throughout Miami, Orlando, and Tampa Bay. Whether they are at the office, at home, or somewhere in between, McDonald’s fans in select areas of these cities can now enjoy their favorite sandwiches, salads, sides, beverages and desserts delivered right to their door via UberEATS.

Customers can place McDonald’s orders via the UberEATS mobile app or at UberEATS.com, using the same account they use to take Uber rides and track their order as an UberEATS delivery partner brings their meals directly to them. The full menu at participating McDonald’s Florida restaurants will be available for delivery with the exception of soft serve cones. McPick 2 and other promotional pricing offers may be excluded from delivery. An UberEATS booking fee applies to each order.
This Florida delivery test is the latest innovation for McDonald’s which recently announced that mobile pay and ordering will begin rolling out this year at McDonald’s in the U.S. as well as other lead markets. In addition, McDonald’s is innovating its customer experience by adding self-order kiosks, table service and digital menu boards to additional U.S. markets this year.

UberEATS is Uber’s stand-alone meal delivery app that makes getting food as easy as requesting a ride, whether you’re at home, the office, or the park. Uber is leveraging its technology and expanding its driver partner network to deliver food to hungry customers who can track their order, get an upfront delivery time, and use the same account they use to take rides. What started in 2014 as a small delivery pilot in Los Angeles has now become its own stand-alone app with a maturing delivery service in 58 cities around the globe. The UberEATS app launched in Miami in July 2016 and gradually expanded by popular demand to Tampa in September 2016 and Orlando in November 2016.
