Winter Garden — M/I Homes recently opened a new model townhome in Hickory Hammock its gated community located off Marsh Road and Stoneybrook West Parkway on Johns Lake in Winter Garden.
David Byrnes, area president for M/I Homes in the Orlando region, said the furnished and decorated Coventry model townhome is the homebuilder’s third model at Hickory Hammock. The community also has two single-family home sections with two open models.
The Coventry model with 2,364 square feet of living area offers three bedrooms, two-and a half baths, an open great room, oversized kitchen and dining area plus a flex space perfectly positioned for a formal dining room, office or guest room. Upstairs features a split bedroom plan, a hall bath and large loft. The two-car attached garage provides plenty of additional space for bikes, tools and storage.
M/I Homes will be building a total of 50 maintenance-free townhomes at Hickory Hammock in Florida Craftsman style with three distinct open concept floor plans to choose along with luxury options like granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, Byrnes said.
The three and four bedroom energy efficient townhomes at Hickory Hammock with two-and-a-half baths and one or two-car garages range from 1,600 square feet of living area to 2,400 square feet, and are priced from $237,000 to $278,000, he said.
Hickory Hammock’s resort-style amenities include a 3,600 square foot community clubhouse with catering kitchen and fitness center, a large swimming pool, two tennis courts and volleyball courts.
