was named a Network Partner in the Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program, has appointed Rebecca Hertz as Program Coordinator for the program aimed at helping veterans starting their own businesses.
Hertz is a graduate of Florida State University with dual degrees in Editing/Writing/Media and Political Science. She also earned a project management certification from FSU and attended a publishing course at Oxford University. Her professional experience has been in technical writing, event management, marketing, communications and educational design.
In her new role Hertz will support the planning and execution of the entrepreneurship training events for the veterans and develop marketing initiatives aimed at recruiting and increasing awareness of the Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program, said Gordon Hogan, Director of the UCF Business Incubation Program.
