SARASOTA, Fla. – Author and publisher Wendy Dingwall will speak to the Sarasota Fiction Writers on Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. at Selby Library. She will present “Don’t Wing It! Build Strong Scenes! Learn the Elements, and Then Some, Needed to Propel Your Story Forward.”
Dingwall is the author of the award-winning Yvonne Suarez Travel Mysteries. Her third novel in the series, “Toxic Cruise,” was released in October 2016.
She is also the president and publisher of Canterbury House Publishing, an independent, traditional publishing house that features authors whose stories are set primarily in the Southeastern United States.
Dingwall is a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, Independent Book Publishers Association, Florida Writers Association and Florida Authors and Publishers. She currently serves as president of Florida Gulf Coast Sisters in Crime.
