If you ever wanted to learn to how to ice skate, the time is now!
Florida Hospital Center Ice (FHCI) is excited to announce open registration for its Learn to Skate USA program. Learn to Skate is designed for individuals of all ages and skill levels. Registration is currently available for beginner and intermediate classes. The beginner class, “Mommy or Daddy and Me!” is a great way for children ages 3-5 ½, to start their skating experience.
The initial Learn to Skate session begins Saturday, January 28, 2017 and includes seven weeks of lessons. Classes are 30 minutes in length and class size is limited to 12 students. The program costs $140.
Learn to Skate – learn a skill you’ll have for life. Florida Hospital Center Ice proudly administers the Learn to Skate USA program. Professional instructors provide a fun and safe environment for individuals of all ages and levels to learn to skate. Whether you want to be a hockey player, figure skater, or recreational skater, we have programs to fit your needs. Learn to Skate classes are offered every seven weeks and include a half hour lesson weekly, skate rental for the lesson, and a practice pass for seven public sessions. Future programming for advanced skaters will include clinics for Synchronized Skating, and Theatre on Ice. Training for skaters expands off the ice as our figure skating program includes dance and conditioning classes.
