OSPREY, FL (January 9, 2017) Do you ever wonder what makes something Florida Friendly? Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast hosts a morning workshop to provide the basics of Florida Friendly Landscaping on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. You will discover how to have a thriving lawn and garden while protecting our community’s natural resources. The program is led by Wilma Holley, who has taught and lived the core principles of Florida Friendly Landscaping for more than a decade. She is a program specialist with the University of Florida/ IFAS Extension and Sustainability Sarasota County.
