Real estate veteran appointed Director of Office Leasing and Sales
TAMPA, Fla. (January 10, 2017) — Crossman & Company, one of the Southeast’s largest retail leasing, property management and investment sales firms, continues to strengthen office client services by announcing that Buffy Gillette has joined the firm as Director of Office Leasing and Sales.
Gillette joins Crossman & Company from Cushman and Wakefield in Orlando where she was a senior leasing associate. There she provided vital support including developing and executing effective marketing plans, deal process, flow and management and expedited client communication throughout every transaction.
Gillette will report to Crossman & Company’s Chief Operating Officer, John Zielinski, CCIM.

Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Gillette played a major role in the opening and expansive growth of Taylor & Mathis in Orlando. In addition to managing operations she was assigned the dual responsibility of director of leasing – showcasing her expertise and knowledge.
Gillette brings a wealth of experience and strategic thinking to help Crossman & Company‘s clients in the growing office sector including leasing, investment sales, and property management.

A licensed real estate agent since 2004 and a broker since 2015, she began her career in residential real estate She quickly became a top producer at Maronda Homes where she assisted in developing, marketing, selling and managing residential communities. Gillette was repeatedly awarded top honors in her division for sales and customer service.
In 2008, Gillette applied her talents at GVA Advantis and later joined Morrison Commercial Real Estate where she gained much of her experience in the institutional, office leasing and sales sector.
Gillette likes to stay involved in serving both the commercial real estate community, as well as our local neighborhoods. She has been a CCIM chapter board member since 2014 and is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) where she serves on the Programs Committee.
She is also a member of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and the Altamonte Springs Rotary where she not only serves on the Membership Committee but volunteers on service projects throughout Orlando.
