Florida Hospital Center Ice has entered into an agreement with US Foods to be the preferred food partner at its new facility under construction in Wesley Chapel, FL. When opened later this month, Florida Hospital Center Ice (FHCI) will be the largest ice sports facility in the southeastern United States.
US Foods is a leading foodservice distributor providing great food and business solutions to customers across the country, including facilities such as FHCI, independent and multi-unit restaurants and healthcare and hospitality entities.
In making the announcement, Gordie Zimmermann, FHCI managing partner said: “We are proud to have US Foods as our preferred food partner.” “US Foods is a well-known brand and we are pleased to have them as a food partner for our great, new facility.”
Florida Hospital Center Ice is comprised of 150,500 square feet of floor space consisting of four ice rinks plus a mini rink. A $28 million capital investment project developed by Z Mitch, LLC, Florida Hospital is the facility’s major sponsor and naming partner. The Tampa Bay Lightning is a program rink partner. It will officially open on January 26, 2017.
