TAMPA – The South Tampa Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2017 Business of the Year Awards to be presented at the Chamber’s Annual Awards Dinner on February 2nd, presented by Frontier Business Edge. The Business of the Year Awards recognize
and honor members that have demonstrated leadership, positive growth, development, and integrity in operation as a business, as well as a commitment to the community.
SMALL BUSINESS (1- 5 Employees): AmeriVet Real Estate Services, Breezin Entertainment and Productions, Elevate, Inc.
MEDIUM BUSINESS (6-10 Employees): Beryl Project Engineering, Landscape-Fusion, The Family Dentist
LARGE BUSINESS (11+ Employees): College Hunks Moving and Hauling, Older Lundy and Alvarez Attorneys at Law, Tastes of Tampa Bay Catering Co.
EMERGING BUSINESS (Less than 3 years): Escape Countdown, Mini Doughnut Factory, Your Pro Kitchen
The Chamber will also present the Citizen of the Year Award to Vincent Jackson at the event.
Kelly Flannery, the chamber’s president said, “In addition to his role with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Vincent has invested in our community as an entrepreneur and is the founder of the Jackson in Action 83 Foundation. His dedication to our city and his support of our military families made him the unanimous choice as our Citizen of the Year.”
As the son of two military parents, Vincent personally understands the dedication and sacrifice of all family members in support of a loved one’s military service. Vincent and his wife, Lindsey, launched the Jackson in Action 83 Foundation in 2012 as a way to support and encourage the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. The mission of the Jackson in Action 83 Foundation is to provide support to military families, focusing on the educational, emotional, and physical health of the children.
Awards for Volunteer of the Year and Member of the Year will also be presented at the event.
