Beaches Chamber foregoes hiring high-profile speaker at Annual Dinner
For the first time ever, The Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce nixed the idea of hiring a ‘high-profile’ speaker for it’s 2017 Annual Dinner, rather opting to feature their very own local businesses. On Thursday, January 19th at the Tradewinds Island Grand Resort, the spotlight will be on the exact businesses that make the community the grand success that it is.
“Celebrating Local Business,” the exciting new theme to this year’s dinner, will present guests with 4 featured success stories from local businesses. Attendees are invited to witness the astounding impact that local businesses have here in the community.
In a second unprecedented move, businesses have been nominated to receive awards in brand-new categories, such as Biggest Community Impact, Top Team Building Event, Best Office Canine and more.
Prior to dinner and ceremony, The TBBCoC will showcase a Business Expo at The Tradewinds Island Grand Resort from 4:30pm – 6:00pm. The expo will feature 21 local businesses and is free to the public.
Entry into the expo begins at 4:30pm and includes a cocktail reception for all attendees of the 2017 Annual Dinner. Dinner will begin promptly at 6pm. Cost to attend the dinner is $65 per member or $75 per future member. To sign up, visit TampaBayBeaches.Com.

About the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce:
The Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest chambers in the Tampa Bay area, serving beach communities from Sand Key in the north to Pass-A-Grille in the south.
Our Chamber serves two primary constituencies of members; tourism related businesses who use the Chamber to promote the area and their companies, and service related businesses who use the Chamber as a means of networking with the local business community to identify potential customers and business partners.
The Chamber is an independent, non-profit corporation governed by a Board of Directors elected annually from among our members. It was created in its current form in 1997, when three previously autonomous chambers joined forces to better conduct the business of the Chamber and promote the Tampa Bay Beaches area as a whole. The Chamber operates visitor centers, one of which also serves as the central office. These facilities are staffed by a combination of volunteers and professional staff to assist our members and area visitors.
