TRINITY, Fla. (Dec. 9, 2016) – We are pleased to announce Gurli Coambes, Heather Hulon, Courtney Walston, Kelly Barry, Nicole Hernandez, Peter Hanson, Mary (Liz) McGrath, and Charlene Sears have joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group as Real Estate Sales Executives.
Coambes has joined the Trinity office, 3126 Little Road, Trinity FL. A real estate professional since 1999, Coambes was previously associated with RE/MAX in Magnolia, Texas. She is originally from Gainesville, TX. She has worked in real estate in Texas, Missouri, and Florida, and most recently worked at a title company in the Clearwater area. An active member of her community, Coambes has coached youth volleyball and soccer at the YMCA and served as PTSA President at Tarpon Springs Middle School. She is also a member of the Civics’ Committee with the West Pasco Board of Realtors.
Hulon has joined the Countryside office, 2539 Countryside Blvd, Ste. 3, Clearwater, FL. Prior to real estate, Hulon worked at Tampa Bay Brewing Company, Kate Spade, Coach, Ann Taylor LOFT, and Kane’s Furniture giving her a wide range of customer service experience. She is from Palm Harbor, FL.
Walston has joined the Brandon office, 3228 Lithia-Pinecrest Rd., Valrico, FL. She is originally from Belle Meade, NJ. Prior to real estate, Walston worked with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and is currently still a special agent for them. She was awarded the Dale Carnegie Public Speaking Award, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and was a former member of an Internet Crimes against Children Task Force in Virginia. Her community involvement includes working with Girl Scout troops in Virginia Beach and teaching internet safety. Walston attended Virginia Wesleyan College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Barry has joined the Carrollwood office, 13131 N. Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa, Fl. She is from Mt. Laurel, NJ, and previously worked at Tampa Bay Brewing Co. Barry was a volunteer at various events for military families and was involved with gold star mothers in New Jersey. She currently serves as a volunteer with Metropolitan Ministries.
Hernandez and Hanson have both joined the South Tampa office, 4950 W Kennedy Blvd, Ste. 300, Tampa, Fl. Hernandez is a Tampa native and is extremely excited to begin her real estate career in her hometown. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a sports and fitness degree and previously worked for U Pack Bags and Species Nutrition. In Nicole’s free time she enjoys volunteering with the Lost Angel’s Animal Rescue.
Hanson has lived in the Tampa Bay area for 27 years now but is originally from Middletown, NJ. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from the University of South Florida. Hanson has more than 10 years of real estate experience and previously worked for Herr Valuation Advisors, a commercial appraisal company. He also worked for The Dohring Group and Valuenet Inc. He was a candidate for designation with the appraisal institute and is also a state certified general appraiser. Complementing his real estate career, is his work as a baseball coach with the Palma Ceia Little League.
McGrath has joined the Belleair office, 404 N Indian Rocks Rd., Belleair Bluffs, FL. A real estate professional since 2012, she was previously with Coldwell Banker and also Century 21. Prior to real estate, Liz was in the medical field as a registered nurse and worked in the Neonatal and Adult Intensive Care Unit. McGrath studied at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY and earned her Associates degree in Nursing. She later attended Chamberlain College of Nursing and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Sears has joined the St. Pete Beach office, 6800 Gulf Boulevard St. Pete Beach, FL. Sears brings more than 20 years of real estate experience to the BHHS FPG team. She previously worked at Luxury Realty and Beach Realty. Sears has been in the Tampa Bay Area for 20 years and prior to Florida, lived in Chicago, IL. Before entering real estate, Charlene was a flight attendant for American Airlines and also an Interior Designer. She has practiced real estate in both Atlanta, Georgia and the Tampa Bay Area.
