SARASOTA, Fla. – Golden Gate Point Ventures, LLC recently celebrated the launch of The Pearl, an elegant, rare and distinctive residential development that will be located just to the west of downtown Sarasota in the heart Golden Gate Point. A New Orleans themed “Bayou Bash” party was held on the site of where The Pearl will be constructed, and the development team marked the occasion with a ceremonial champagne pop and the tossing of pearl beads.
The 5-story Pearl will feature a distinctive curvilinear architecture design, and will exude an upscale, classic modern style with art deco influences. A roof top patio will offer breathtaking views of Sarasota Bay and the downtown Sarasota skyline. The team behind this stellar development are: David Gruber of Golden Gate Point Ventures, LLC, Robert Martin of Divisions Unlimited, Gary Hoyt of Hoyt Architects, Sally Trout of Sally A. Trout Interior Design, David Asher of Eurotech Cabinetry, Inc. and realtors Joel Schemmel and Cheryl Loeffler of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty.
Approximately 125 people attended the Bayou Bash, and guests enjoyed a New Orleans style shrimp boil, signature hurricane drinks, and live music by singer Jennifer Sabin of LJ Event Production, LLC. A 1938 Cadillac and classic Bentley from Vintage Motors of Sarasota, Inc. added to the evening’s ambiance, and the two-story existing apartments with wrought iron railing provided the perfect scene for a New Orleans celebration. From atop the second story, Gruber spoke about his vision for The Pearl. “We chose Golden Gate Point as the site of The Pearl, because we believe that it is a premiere downtown neighborhood with a rich history.” He continued, “The Pearl’s distinctive, curvilinear design will perfectly complement the sleek, modern styles already found within this friendly community.”
Schemmel and Loeffler spoke about The Pearl’s premium upscale finishes, from Euro-style custom cabinetry to quartz countertops, natural hardwood flooring, and floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors opening to expansive terraces. “This is a limited offering of only 8 condominium residences, and this opportunity won’t last long, as we have already sold one unit,” said Schemmel.
Golden Gate Point Ventures, LLC received City approval for The Pearl in early June 2016. Gruber hopes to break ground soon. For media inquiries or more information, contact Schemmel or Loeffler at 941-308-6497 or visit thepearlsarasota.com.
