Lolita Tartine Restaurant in Sarasota Offers New Dinner, Lunch, Breakfast, and Happy Hour Menus
Sarasota, FL (Friday, October 21, 2016) – Geraldine and Christophe Coutelle, proprietors of Lolita Tartine Restaurant in the heart of Sarasota’s Rosemary District, are pleased to announce Lolita Tartine’s new Fall 2016 menus for breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and dinner. Available immediately, Lolita Tartine offers tasty new creations while still offering customer’s favorites. Focusing on enhancing the dinner experience, Geraldine and Christophe Coutelle created new menu items with inspiration from classically inspired French dishes enhanced with locally-sourced fresh ingredients. Some new dinner menu items include: Lentil Salad with smoked duck, fresh herbs, and orange slivers; House-Made Fresh Salmon Rillette; Chicken Skewers in lime marinade with rosemary oil and fresh herbs served with house-made ratatouille; Pan Seared Scallops with lemon beurre blanc served with a mascarpone Parmesan, and arugula risotto; Baked Salmon Filet with teriyaki sauce served with a duo of house-made ratatouille and rice; Mussels served marinière, blue cheese, or curry and accompanied with house-made potatoes; Pork Tenderloin with Moutarde à l’Ancienne served with gratin dauphinoise potatoes and house-made pasta with traditional ratatouille. All dinner items can be paired with a recommended French wine. A new salad choice is the Salad Latina with quinoa, cucumber, tomato, raisins, shallot, olive oil, and lemon. And, added to their famous dessert menu are two new dessert choices: Warm Apple Crumble served with vanilla ice cream, caramel coulis, and whipping cream; and Meringue served with vanilla ice cream, raspberry coulis, and whipping cream. All three new menus – breakfast, lunch, and dinner – are posted on the Lolita Tartine website at lolitatartine.com.
Most of the new menu items are the result of three elements: expanding upon current client’s favorite choices, the new availability of certain fresh ingredients, and, quite simply, items that the Coutelles like themselves. “We get such positive feedback from our clients on certain dishes, and thought we should explore the idea of giving them more of what they love,” says Geraldine Coutelle. “And, we are connected with several new local culinary suppliers which tap into local farms, so we are able to offer fresh ingredients, creating really flavorful dishes,” she says. “Also, at the end of the day, we want to have a culinary affinity to all our menu items. We dine at Lolita Tartine too, so it makes sense that we create traditional French menu items, with our cultural twist. And, the result is offering menu items we enjoy too”, says Christophe Coutelle with a smile.
Also new to Lolita Tartine is an enticing Happy Hour Menu from 4-6pm featuring a variety of French House Wines and European Beers for $5 along with a new $5 Tapas menu to complement each beverage.
