Sarasota, Florida (November 2, 2016) – In celebration of National Latino AIDS Awareness Day, on Saturday, November 5, Community AIDS Network will be hosting a family-friendly health fair from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at Shenandoah Park in Sarasota.
This outdoor event is free to the general public and will provide free food and drinks, entertainment and giveaways. There will be a live DJ, dancers and singers from the community, free haircuts, face painting, crafts and clowns making this a very family-friendly event.
CAN will provide free HIV, STD and pregnancy testing. Other community partners will be setting up information booths to provide medical (including flu shots) and non-medical information and resources that can be accessed and utilized by members and the community.
