CareerSource Suncoast is proud to announce Paychecks for Patriots, a special hiring event dedicated to local veterans and their families. CareerSource Suncoast is partnering with Goodwill Manasota to hold the event on Wednesday, November 9 at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, 1845 34th St. Sarasota, FL from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m..
The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, the Florida National Guard, and the Florida Department of Veteran Affairs are partnering with CareerSource Florida regions to link members of Florida’s military and veteran community with career opportunities through the Paychecks for Patriots hiring event. This statewide hiring fair will address the employment needs of veterans in order to continue to make Florida the most veteran-friendly state in the nation, and will provide veterans with meaningful employment from employers who are dedicated to assisting veterans and their families find careers that match their skills and aspirations.
During the event, CareerSource Suncoast will match veterans with over 35 employers who value the skills, knowledge and attributes veterans attain during military service.
