OSPREY, FL (October 12, 2016) Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast recently hosted a professional seminar featuring Stephen J. Small, recognized as the nation’s leading authority on private land protection strategies. Attendees received Continuing Education credits and included attorneys, trust officers, estate planners, and financial advisors for the half-day program presented at Sarasota Yacht Club. The seminar was made possible with generous support provided by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Inc. from the Donald Hogue Fund.
Stephen J. Small authored the series “Preserving Family Lands” and wrote the Federal Income Tax Regulations on Conservation Easements as attorney-advisor in the Office of Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service.
