Ligon is a graduate of Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Pain management, anesthesia, general surgery and emergency medicine are among Ligon’s special medical interests. Twice a year, Ligon volunteers her medical and surgical skills to the Turks and Caicos Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to aid the underserved animals.
