TAMPA, Fla. (September 16, 2016) – For the second straight year, Premier Eye Care has been included on the “Florida Fast 100” list, a ranking of the fastest-growing privately held companies in Florida based on revenue growth over the past three years. Premier ranked No. 75 on the 2016 list, announced last week.
The list was compiled using the “Fast 50” lists from American City’s Florida business journals: Tampa Bay Business Journal, South Florida Business Journal, Orlando Business Journal and Jacksonville Business Journal. The “Fast 50” list is an annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in each publication’s respective area; Premier was ranked No. 7 on the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s most recent “Fast 50” list.
Companies on the list were ranked based by revenue growth over the past three years.
In this timeframe, Premier’s annual revenues grew from $53.9 million in 2013 to $108.8 million in 2015, an increase of $54.9 million.
“It is an honor to be named to the Florida Fast 100 for the second year in a row,” said Lorna Taylor, President and CEO of Premier Eye Care. “This represents two decades of consistent forward momentum created by an innovative, long-term team. While our business model has pivoted over the years in response to ever-changing market and industry demands, our commitment to delivering best-in-practice service has remained constant.”
The company, which ranked No. 70 on last year’s “Florida Fast 100” list, has also been named among the “Best Companies to Work For” by Florida Trend magazine in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, and as one of the 75 “Best Places to Work for Millennials” in the nation, determined by the Center for Generational Kinetics based on an analysis of over 4,000 U.S. companies, in 2015.
