Behind the Curtain: Basic Makeup for the Stage

DETAILS: Patel Conservatory staffer and theater make-up enthusiast Sarah Berland will teach participants how to apply make up for the stage.
In this hands-on workshop, students will be introduced to the basic materials and skills needed to apply and design basic stage makeup. The workshop will include a basic introduction to make up and design, an application demonstration of contouring and highlight, and a student application portion where students will apply learned skills to create basic stage looks.
Students will be provided with all materials to create in-class applications as well as how-to and material guides to take home for reference.
This workshop is designed for those in fifth grade through adult. Registration is required by calling 813.222.1040 or by visiting the Patel Conservatory registration office. The fee is $25 for non-Patel Conservatory students, free for Patel Conservatory students.
