TAMPA, Fla. (Sept. 7, 2016) — Statewide law firm Broad and Cassel today announced Jason Lambert has joined the Tampa office as an associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group.
Prior to joining the firm, Lambert was an attorney with Zinzow Law in Palm Harbor and a special assistant in the Office of the Public Defender for the 10th Judicial Circuit of Florida. While at Zinzow, he provided support for matters in all aspects of commercial civil litigation with an emphasis on the construction and real estate industries. He also assisted in the negotiation of several matters valued at more than a million dollars each, including a hotel renovation subcontract, defense of litigation involving a real estate acquisition, and breach of a 10-year mining lease, to name a few.
A successful entrepreneur, Lambert started law school only after he founded two companies, one of which, Absolute Notice, is still in operation today. The company was built from his experience working for a medium-sized general contractor and assists contractors in meeting the requirements of Florida’s lien laws.
Lambert is active in a variety of professional organizations, including serving as 6th Circuit Representative for The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors, the president-elect for the Clearwater Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and a member of the Federal Bar Association – Tampa Bay Chapter. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Stetson University in DeLand and earned his juris doctor from Stetson’s College of Law in Gulfport, where he was selected for the Moot Court Board and won numerous awards.
